Đôi nét về Nothing Else Matters
Nothing Else Matters là một bài hát ballad hiếm hoi khá nhẹ nhàng của Metallica được phát hành năm 1991 thuộc album "Black Album". Thật ra lúc đầu James Hetfield, ca sĩ cũng chính là tác giả của bài hát này không muốn công khai Nothing Else Matters vì đây là một bài hát khá riêng tư, James viết tặng riêng cho người yêu khi không thể bên cạnh cô ấy vì những chuyến lưu diễn xa xôi, bất tận. James kể lại anh viết những nốt nhạc đầu tiên khi đang gọi điện cho người yêu trong một chuyến lưu diễn, một tay cầm điện thoại và một tay chép lại những cảm xúc đang ào ào tuôn ra.
Nhưng khi Lars Ulrich và Kirk Hammett nghe thấy bài hát này, họ đã bị hớp hồn bởi giai điệu và ý nghĩa bài hát. Metallica đã cùng nhau xuất ra bài hát này...
Bây giờ, nothing else matters không còn là bài hát của tình yêu, nhưng Metallica coi đó là bài hát biểu lộ tình cảm của Band cho các fan yêu quý, Đối với tôi, Nothing Else Matters là bài hát của niềm tin, của hy vọng, của sự "Bất cần đời"...nó như là lời động viên...
